Flag Ground Spikes
Ground spikes drive into grass, soil or sand and hold a flag pole upright without any base weight, which makes them the lightest and most secure option for outdoor events, sports grounds, festivals, beaches and roadside verges.
Choosing the right spike
- The 2.64 lb spike suits flags up to about 11ft in normal conditions.
- The 3.97 lb spike gives more bite in loose or sandy ground and for taller flags.
- The Deluxe spike matches our Deluxe-grade poles.
- Ground spikes cannot be used on hard surfaces — use a cross base instead.
Cheaper when bought with a flag
A spike ordered on its own carries the full cost of its own shipment. Added to a flag order it travels in the same parcel, which is why the price shown on a flag product page is lower than the standalone price here.
